Narasimha Jayanti is a prominent Hindu festival that the fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu as Lord Narasimha.

Lord Narasimha, according to Hinduism, was the fourth avatar of Vishnu. In this form, Vishnu had the body of a man, but he had a head of a lion.

Narasimha is a fierce avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu, formed to kill the demon Hiranyakashipu. Narasimha is also described as the God of Destruction, who does destruction at the time of Pralaya or Yuganta and described as Kala.

Narasimha Jayanti is a prominent Hindu festival that the fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu as Lord Narasimha. A festival date observed by Hindus that celebrates Lord Narasimhas Birthday. It is observed on the Vaishakha Shukla Chaturdashi.

Every year, Narasimha Jayanti is celebrated on the Chaturdashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Vaishakha. The day is also called Narasimha Chaturdashi.

Vaishaka usually falls on April- May as per Gregorian calendar.
