Things needed to prepare Groundnut Holige (Flatbread).
Peanut Holige (Flatbread) Recipe Procedure
Step-1. Dry Roast the groundnut in a pan until light brown.
Step-2. In the meanwhile, prepare the dough
Step-2. Add 2 large cup of wheat flour in a bowl, add 2 tablespoon of coconut oil and salt. Add water little by little tp prepare a soft dough. And let it for 15-20 minutes.
Step-3. Till the Dough is ready, prepare the stuffings. Firstly, grate the jaggery.
Step-3. Now, add cardamom and mix it well.
Step-3. Mix it Well.
Step 3. Transfer Roasted Groundnut to a Mixer Jar
Step 3. Grind roasted groundnut or peanut in a mixer into powder.
Step 3. Now, transfer it to a bowl of grated jaggery and cardamom mixture and mix it again.
Step-4. Prepare small Lemon Sized balls out of the Peanut Stuffings prepared.
Step-5. Make Lemon sized balls out of the Dough.
Step-6. Take lemon sized dough and make it like a bowl and place the stuffings inside.
Step-6. Slowly push the stuffings inside. Cover the stuffing with dough.
Step-7. Roll on it to get a round shape.
Step-8. Heat the Tawa.
Step-9. Carefully lift the rolled Peanut Holige on your palm and transfer it over heated tawa.
Step-10. Cook it in a medium flame. apply some ghee over it, flip and cook till you see brown spots.
Step-10. Remove it.
Peanut Holige (Flatbread) Ready to Serve
Have it with ghee, if you are more taste-conscious.
